Guys, you probably want to go somewhere else.
I'm a beauty product junkie. It's partly because I used to spend time on alt.fashion reading others' posts about their favorite clothes and makeup. But, then women started flaming each other over which lipstick is best and I left the group. Now that I have a blog I can just post my favorites here.
Favorite Department Store Products
1. Laura Mercier Loose Powder in Translucent - The only powder I use.
2. Lorac Portable Paints in Partially Nude - Just the eyeshadows and blush (the lip glosses are too sheer and sticky!)
3. Annick Goutal Folavril Eau de Toilette - Fruity/floral summer scent. Smells a little like Petite Cherie, but better. It's overpriced though, and should come in a fancier decanter.
4. Kiehl's Lip Balm (tube) - It doesn't dry out my lips like other lip balms do. I have 2 tubes (one for the medicine cabinet and one for my makeup bag). Next time, I'm getting the one with SPF 15.
5. Terax Shampoo Latte - Deep cleansing/clarifying shampoo that doesn't dry my hair out. Has a nice, fresh scent too.
6. Nars Nailpolish in Bohemia - Very pretty Bronze/Berry shimmer. This is was my 'signature' nailpolish. Nars just discontinued it though. I hate when that happens! Everytime I like something...poof! Discontinued.

7. Laura Mercier Crème Brulee Body Wash - Very decadent and luxurious scent. I save it for special occasions only, because it's so damn expensive.
8. Zents Pear Body Lotion - Pears smell good.
9. Tweezerman Point Tweezer - The best tweezer in the world. Very pointy.
10. Caswell-Massey Goat's Milk & Honey Soaps - Has a subtle spice scent.
Favorite Drugstore Products
1. Clean & Clear Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer - Has a pimple-fighting ingredient so it doesn't make my face break out like most moisturizers do.
2. Love's Baby Soft - I don't care if it's been around since the 70's or that 13-year old girls wear it. I wear this all the time. It makes me feel "innocent."
3. Neutrogena UltraSheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 30 - Absorbs quickly and isn't greasy at all.
4. Kiss My Face Moisture Shave in Vanilla Earth - It's the only shave cream I can find that comes in a tube instead of a can. No more rust rings on the bathtub.
5. Jergen's Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer (for fair skin) - I just started using this, but it's supposed to gradually build up a fake tan. So far, so good. Most self-tanning products look orange on my pale pinkish skin.
6. Any generic gallon-size jug of strawberry or rose scented bubble bath - I buy it at the grocery store.
7. Maybelline Brow Styling Gel in Clear - Keeps 'em in place.
8. Ouidad Botanical Boost - Conditioning/De-tangling mist. I keep it in my swimming pool tote bag.
10. Avon Lipliner in Neutral - It's cheap and goes with almost any neutral lipstick.
