Did you ever see religious messages in unusual places?
I'm talking about things like 'Jesus Saves' spraypainted on the underpass of a bridge or scratched onto the side of a metal bathroom stall. I've seen these messages in every state I've been in, and I wish I could meet the people who leave them. I wonder who they are, what they look like, and what made them decide to leave the messages.
How does one come to the decision to sneak under a bridge on a busy highway and spraypaint Christian graffiti? That takes planning. First, the person would have to do it at night and risk getting caught by the police. They would have to duck out of sight if they saw any headlights. I wonder why the person did it. Was it to help save others or was it to prove to The Lord, that through this act of vandalism, he or she is truly dedicated? I'm just saying, because it's kind of hard to save someone's soul when they're driving past it at 70 mph.
Same thing with the bathroom stall in the ladies' room. Who was the woman who took out a sharp object and scratched 'What Would Jesus Do?' into the wall while sitting on the toilet? What was she thinking at that moment? Because while I was reading it, I was thinking, "What would Jesus do...when? While going to the bathroom?" I don't know, but I'm pretty sure Jesus wouldn't scratch a message about himself on a bathroom wall.
Want to know what I haven't seen yet? "Buddha Saves." Come on Buddhists, you need to show some dedication. Now you know why you're only #5 on the list of most popular religions in the U.S. Get those spraypaint cans out!
I decided to start a photo collection of religious messages in weird places. Unfortunately, I don't always have my camera handy when I see one. But, sometimes I do...
Here's a message I found on a hand dryer in a public bathroom. Right when I snapped it a lady walked out of a stall and then glared at me. I just glared back at her because hey, there's no law against taking pictures of hand dryers in public bathrooms. What's her problem?

The little sticker says: I asked Jesus how much he loved me and he stretched out his arms and died.

I saw this sign and made my husband turn around and go back so I could see the chapel.

This one goes in my collection too, because I've never seen a Trucker's Chapel before. It's a rusty trailer with a steeple nailed on top and a neon sign on the front. l love this pic.
